  The earliest known ancestor of this line is John Drury, born in 1848, who was a Market Gardner in Blackmanstone, Kent, England. John Drury and his wife Annie Elizabeth King, (born about 1850 in Upper Weedon, Northampton) had the following children:
 

1. Charles W. Drury b. 1873, Ashford, Kent, England

2. Henry R. Drury b. 1875, Ashford, Kent, England

3. Albert A. E. Drury b. 1877, Ashford, Kent, England (emigrated to Canada)

4. George Benjamin Packham Drury b. 1879, Folkestone, Kent, England m. Elizabeth Gallop

5. Mary A. E. Drury b. 1881, Folkestone, Kent, England
