Arms of Hayden, Boleyn, and
Gurney. The top arms would be from Ann Boleyn,
wife of Sir Henry Hayden of Baconsthorpe, and the
great-aunt of Anne Boleyn, second Queen of Henry
VIII. The Gurney arms would be of William Gurney,
Esq., husband of Ann Heydon (dau. of Sir Henry
Hayden of Baconsthorpe). "Puns" were
popular in the arms of Britain; the three bulls
represent a pun on Bullen, the original spelling
of Boleyn.
