Edith
Chamberlain was born August 04, 1907 in Bathurst,
New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of
Amié Chamberlain (1870-1930) and Margaret
"Maggie" Lagacé (1867 - 1913). Edith
was the grand-daughter of Basile Lagacé and
Euphrosine (Jane) Roy, and the great
grand-daughter of Louis Mignier dit Lagacé (born
1783) and Madeleine Levesque. She was the 5th
great granddaughter of André Mignier dit Lagacé
(1640 - 1727), who came to Canada in 1665 from
France.
