Jules
Petrequin Mansion
Built
in 1912 at 600 Market street by Jules Petrequin,
part owner and general manager of Western Lime
Works, said to be built for his crippled son,
Nicholas. He was nursed by Viola Oberle, and when
Jules died, she and her husband were invited to
move into the house. The Knights of Columbus
purchased the stately manor in 1959 and it serves
as the K of C Hall today.
