Bolduc - LeMeilleur House

This home was built either in 1792 or 1820 depending on various sources of information. In 1968, the house was lowered from its two-story configuration to its present one-and-a-half stories in a major restoration. Etienne Bolduc, son of Louis, married Catherine Janis in 1792. The house may have been standing at that time. When Louis died in 1815, his daughter in law Catherine, now a widow, inherited the property and lived there with her daughter, Agathe, and her husband René Lemeillure. It may have been built in 1820 by René. It is open for tours.
